PSA Group wins double honours at the MAAF Auto Environment Awards.

At the twelfth annual MAAF Auto Environment Awards held on 8 June 2016, the new Peugeot Expert and Citroën Jumpy tied for the Best Light Commercial Vehicle prize awarded by a panel of 13 automotive journalists.

Created in 2005 by French insurance company MAAF, the Auto Environment Awards honour the vehicles and technological innovations deemed by the automotive media to be the most representative of carmaker and OEM efforts to protect the environment.
This year, prizes were awarded in eight different categories, taking into account Euro 6 standards and criteria such as fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutant emissions.

In the light commercial vehicle category, the first prize was shared by the Group's new vans:
- The new Peugeot Expert Premium Pack Compact – 1.6-litre Blue HDi 115 hp S&S, 6-speed manual gearbox – 133 g of CO2/km
- The new Citroën Jumpy XS Business – 1.6-litre Blue HDi 115 hp S&S, 6-speed manual gearbox – 133 g of CO2/km
The Euro 6-compliant 1.6-litre Blue HDi engine, equipped with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, is aligned with the Group's ongoing commitment to reduce fuel consumption and pollutant emissions in its fleet.

All of the winning vehicles will benefit from the MAAF "Pur Bonus", a special offer allowing MAAF policyholders to obtain a €100 discount on their first insurance payment for vehicles purchased during the reference year.
