Don't Believe Everything You Read?

I get it. Tupac Shakur advised us not to believe everything we read, which make sense to me as well. So it's ok if you choose not to believe everything Peugeot writes or says. But What exactly do you think the sticker above means? You will find the sticker in Peugeot cars engine bay. What message do you think Peugeot is passing across to you
the owner? Because they are not there to beautify engine bays, obviously.

This is what I know the sticker  is saying, "I, Peugeot, hereby declare this engine bay is not water-proofed. So, thou shall not wash the engine bay with Water pressure pump."  Maybe you have different definition of the sticker. But if my definition of the sticker is your definition as well, if the message resonates with you, then why do what the sticker is asking you not to? Could it be you have a belief making you to ignore the message? Could the belief be "Cleanliness is next to godliness" ? Could it be you want to please other peoples eyes? Well, how is that belief working out for you, when applied in this context?

Some people have introduced sudden or gradual severe electrical issues in their Peugeot cars by ignoring the message on that sticker.  Some even caused mechanical failures. Some people have damaged their Alternators, Engine ECUs, Gearbox ECUs, Switches, Sensors, clutch components, etc. There is nothing wrong in ignoring that sticker to please your eyes, other peoples eyes or some other beliefs or reasons you have. But does the final manifestation of the act pleasing to you?

There are safer ways of washing or cleaning Peugeot engines or engine bays. Will talk about it subsequent posts.
