Inspirational Quote of the Day: 28/10/2016

Trying to improve is a want to please others. How you are right now is perfect as it is. Change is inevitable and it comes natural. Allow change that feels good to you, for it's beneficial to you & continues to lead you to moment to moment greatness.

Maintenance of Lions: State of Being.

Was discussing with a lion owner this evening that led to contrast that brought clarity on a subject I have been thinking: State of being during car ownership.

It became clear to me that a lot of people  maintain cars out of fear, not joy. People change engine oil or timing belts because of unpleasant things that might happen if not done when due, not because it feels good to them. People bring out money to do these maintenances as they would feel when paying for taxes or levies.

When people go out to buy some drinks and roasted chickens to enjoy with friends or loved ones, they feel good spending the money. And most importantly, feel good about fun they are about to have. Even though those edibles may cost more than engine oil or timing belt, but they feel joyful they can afford to have fun.

Come To Think of it

I realised that when someone is having a hard time in life or having issues with his lion, it's not the time to remind him "You know you create your own reality." 😃
I guess we all have to figure it out individually, since we all have different beliefs that are all true.

Just be easy about life.

Maintenance Tips

Modern cars engines are electrically and electronically controlled, to a large extent. As they get older, some of the electrical components will pack up gradually. Since they are electronic, its easier to electronically find out which of them that needs to be replaced by diagnosing with electronic tool like scanner. Otherwise you can go the route of trial and error, complicating issues.
ECU means Electronic Control Unit, what most Nigerians call "Brainbox".
Its an electronic  module that controls anything that has electrical connection to it.
In modern lions, each has more than 5 ECUs. Engine has its ECU. Radio has its ECU. Automatic gearbox, variable steering, variable suspension, Airbag, ABS, etc. All these have their separate ECUs.
So when something is wrong with the way engine is behaving, you scan the engine ECU, because that's where you will find the cause. Same way when automatic gearbox is giving warning, the fault or cause will be stored in its ECU, not engine ECU or power steering ECU. Same way you scan ABS ECU if ABS is given malfunctioning sign on the instrument panel or display.
Some lions diagnose themselves and display the faults or causes on the Display on Dashboards, with option of scanning as well, for more technical test, diagnosis, etc.

Excerpt

"...People don't exercise these days with a lot of excuses, yet expect every part of their bodies to function as supposed to when put into use. Aside that. Not many knows how to adjust a seat on stick cars while driving. Your thighs are meant to rest on the seat, meaning the lower part of the seat is meant to be raised, so that your legs don't hang without resting on seat. Some who couldn't adjust their seats but understood the trick would place small pillow on the seat and sit on the pillow. How high your legs go up to depress pedals determines how uncomfortable you will become after awhile. Knowing how to drive doesn't stop in controlling the steering wheel. Knowing how to drive means absence of resistance to allow yourself to be comfortable behind the wheel and trust your guts & impulses flowing through you. So getting comfortable on drivers seat is one of them. Driving is meant to be fun, not some schedules....."

Inspirational Quote

".....It's a good thing to choose and decide what you want or prefer this to that. Naturally, man tends to move towards what is beneficial or pleasurable to him, even though some beliefs of his might hold him back, especially a common belief like conformity. It's not a matter of why others won't come over to this side you preferred or made sense to you, it should be "It make sense to me and must not make sense to everyone." Realities and paths are different......."

Maintenance Tips Quote

"......When you love something, you will be so impatient to want to know how to keep that feeling alive in you as long as it takes and whatever it takes. What you love is not anyone's responsibility. You may not need to know how to use spanners, but you can as well know what shouldn't be done on your car. Because, in Nigeria, it's not always what people don't do to their cars that put them in bad conditions, but mostly, what they do to them. Call it abuse, if you want to. How you feel about your car determines how you handle your car......"

Quote of the Day: 08/10/2016

Say what you mean and mean what you say. Don't try to change what you mean to please anyone, for it makes you powerless. It's not your job to make others happy. It's your job to make & keep yourself happy. Then those that vibrate in same frequency you are will find you joyful to be around with, which can influence those who are not to join or they vibrate someplace else. You are a powerful creator!

Resistance wears down Auxiliary belts and Timing belts. Check the state of your belt rollers and tensioners.
